01/02/2011 - "The guy was writing the ticket and I was writing the lyrics..." - Sammy Hagar

Good Morning and Merry January 2nd!

In addition to "writing ahead" on the "meat" of the posts, I'm attempting when possible to coordinate my blogs with events in history so that we can all have a bit of a learning experience too because learning is fun!!!  - :) - You're welcome :)

Hippie-rific Humpday, A Sad Day in Music & More Changes Than You Can Pack in a Pinata!

Good morning folks!!

There's a lot to discuss today and I don't know that I can get it all into one blog quickly enough as I have somewhere to be this morning and have several projects to finish up before I leave - BUT, there will be at least one more before my head hits the pillow tonight-so be sure to "bookmark", "subscribe" or "save in your favorites"  :)

It Takes It's Name from a Church Hymn & Reached #16 on the Pop Singles Chart in 1983~

Happy Sunday Folks!!  We're back on track in the world of Ocho-rific!

I had to take a bit of a hiatus to work out some kinks on a few projects while I was off from the "day job" for a few days in a row.  That also gave me a great opportunity to work on things with the Ocho-rific Song o the Day and I can tell you that we have some very groovy and mind boggling things coming up!!

Inspired by UNICEF and Written in 10 Minutes!

 Happy Sunday Cats and Kittens!!

I'm sorry y'all had to wait until 10:30 am on this ... it was actually done last night and I tried to jot my opener before I went to bed; but sadly ... had nothing really to say because my brain was fried from working on websites and pics and such all day.  Lots of good news on that front later though .. :)

11-05-2010 - Like A Rock - Bob Seger

I'm rather spastic where Bob Seger is concerned.  My pendulum swings from one side to the other on him.  I have noticed though ... and I think it's one of those things that come with age and wisdom ... his lyrics make a lot more sense to me now than they used to... and I think he's starting to grow on me more as we both age :)

Halloween II

10/31/2010 - Thriller - Michael Jackson

 Happy Halloween Ghosties and Goblins!!

I seldom take special requests ... primarily because no one ever sends me one.  HOWEVAH, as I sat on my bed Friday night, absolutely immersed in Halloween ... my phone buzzed ...

"Sundays ochorifric song of the day HAS to be Thriller. PPPllleeeaaassseeee!"

10/29/2010 * Genesis * 1986 * Land of Confusion

Good morning, Happy Friday and Happy Halloween Weekend!!

You can look for a very nice run of consistency with the blog over the next few days as I have been writing ahead a bit for Halloween at the recommendation of a friend.

10/23/10 - Tarzan Boy Feedback and TODAY'S Ocho-rific Song o the Day!

I visited a friend on Wednesday night who hadn't yet seen Wednesday's blog.  This particular friend is not a big fan of "new music" ... and by "new music"; I mean anything released by anyone who was not recording music in the 70s. :)

10/17/2010 - Eye in the Sky - Alan Parsons Project

Good morning and Happy Sunday!!

Some people will tell you that this Alan Parsons Project fave is about spy satellites.  If you're interested in reading some of the theories and whatnot, come back and check out the Songmeanings link (below the video) ... after you've finished reading the blog of course  ... and sharing it with everyone you know ... :)
