Happy Saturday to you each and every one! It's been quite a hiatus ... about 10 days, I guess. It's been nearly full of overwhelming stress and complete chaos for me ... but I hope it's been the most delicious ten days of your life! :)
It has actually allowed me to spend some time on the creative end of all things Ocho-rific and some wonderful progress is being made ... and very inexpensively, which is very, very good for me. Stay tuned for details on that .. if you care ... :)
Ocho-rific Song o the Day...
We All Want It, We All Need It & Usually It Seems We Can't Get It
Peace of Mind - Boston - 1977

Now if you're feelin' kinda low 'bout the dues you've been paying
Future's coming much too slow
And you wanna run but somehow you just keep on stayin'
Can't decide on which way to go
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I understand about indecision
But I don't care if I get behind
People livin' in competition
All I want is to have my peace of mind.
Now you're climbin' to the top of the company ladder
Hope it doesn't take too long
Can'tcha you see there'll come a day when it won't matter
Come a day when you'll be gone
I understand about indecision
But I don't care if I get behind
People livin' in competition
All I want is to have my peace of mind.
Take a look ahead, take a look ahead, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...
Now everybody's got advice they just keep on givin'
Doesn't mean too much to me
Lot's of people out to make-believe they're livin'
Can't decide who they should be.
I understand about indecision
But I don't care if I get behind
People livin' in competition
All I want is to have my peace of mind.
Take a look ahead, take a look ahead. Look ahead.

::WIKI "FACTS"::
*"Peace of Mind" is a song by Boston from their debut 1976 self-titled album. It was released the next year as the third and final single from the album. As a single, the song peaked at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1977.[1] The song is largely a commentary on the growing materialism of the Baby Boomer generation as they entered the workforce, and the band's rejection of this materialism.[citation needed]
*"Peace of Mind" is a downloadable track in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases of the video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, as well as the video game Rock Band, both as master tracks. However, many of the guitar and vocal harmonies heard throughout the song have been removed from both games for unknown reasons.
*"Peace of Mind" was covered by Stryper on their 2009 Murder by Pride album.
Tom Scholz also played guitar on it.

::Extra Goodies from AllMusic.com::
Boston was essentially the vehicle of studio wizard Tom Scholz, born March 10, 1947, in Toledo, OH.
A rock fan throughout his teen years, he began writing songs while earning a master's degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After graduation, he began work for Polaroid, and set about constructing his own 12-track recording studio in the basement of his home, where demos were recorded that earned Scholz and vocalist Brad Delp a contract with Epic in 1975. Although some recording and overdubs were later done in Los Angeles, the 1976 release of Boston consisted largely of tapes recorded in Scholz's basement.
Despite the record's overwhelming success, Scholz spent over two years working on the follow-up, 1978's number one hit Don't Look Back; a perfectionist, he only then released the album because of intense label pressure for product. Unsatisfied with the results, he swore to produce the next album at his own pace; as a result, the chart-topping Third Stage did not appear until 1986, at which time only Scholz and Delp remained from the original lineup.
Scholz spent the next several years in the courtroom: eventually, he won a seven-year battle against Epic, which claimed Boston had reneged on its contract by taking so long between releases. When the band resurfaced again in 1994 with Walk On, Scholz was the lone remaining member; Delp and Goudreau had reunited in 1992 as RTZ, releasing the album Return to Zero.
In addition to his fame as a musician, Scholz also found success as an inventor and businessman. In 1981, he formed Scholz Research & Design, Inc., a company founded to create high-tech music equipment. After first developing the Power Soak, a volume-control device, SR&D introduced the Rockman, a small and inexpensive guitar amplifier with headphones. The Rockman proved phenomenally popular with other musicians, and the capital generated from its sales helped fund Scholz's further musical ambitions. :)
